Welcome to the official German participation in CHINAPLAS 2013 - the biggest and most important trade fair for the plastics and rubber industries in China. This year's CHINAPLAS in Guangzhou is the 27th edition and will be the largest event of its kind.
The designated new political leadership in China defines a new era in this country. China's top economic priority is to reform the economy while relying more on domestic demand through consumption. It sets the focus on urban development and agricultural modernization. To meet these goals, high-tech and energy-efficient equipment is needed and this need bears multiple chances for German suppliers in the field of plastics and rubber.
They are able to supply technologies and processes of mechanical and plant engineering which, for example, consume a minimum amount of energy while delivering maximum productivity, preserve resources, reduce emissions to a minimum and improve people's living conditions in a sustainable way.
The Chinese market continues to be the most important destination worldwide for the German suppliers in the field of plastics and rubber industries.
At CHINAPLAS 2013, 140 German manufacturers of plastics and rubber resins, machines and complete lines, moulds and dies as well as auxiliary and peripheral equipment will present on 3.835 m² the range of products and services they offer to potential Chinese customers. The German Pavilion - the biggest ever - clearly reflects the importance of the Chinese market and its significance to the suppliers.
The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, AUMA_ Association of the German Trade Fair Industry and the Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association within VDMA wish all exhibitors and visitors to CHINAPLAS 2013 a most successful show.
